It’s an often asked question nowadays… with the prevalence of technology you very probably have a camera within arms reach at this exact second. And if that’s not good enough then everyone has a friend with a “nice camera” (and there seems to be this idea that nicer cameras equal better pictures), so why pay someone to take photos of you?
The images that a provider has in her galleries will directly correlate to what her rates are. Someone with image galleries that are mostly underwear selfies, cropped snapshots from parties, and/or clearly the attempt of an amateur “photographer” will not be booking for the same rate as someone with professional, eye catching photos.
You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Photos are your potential clients first introduction to you, and it’s not just how they will picture you until they are able to meet you in person, but images are nearly always the deciding factor on whether or not to book you in the first place.
Professional photos not only make you look your best, but show in a not so subtle way that you care about your business and your brand. Potential clients absolutely know that a provider who cares about her business and her brand is a provider that is more likely to deliver better service.
Retouching can make a good photo an amazing photo, but it must be done in a way so as to look natural. Potential clients are easily turned off by the “photoshopped” look, understandably. Good retouching that is not overwhelming requires an expert with a fine and practised hand, someone who works in photoshop every single day as part of their daily routine. What this means for you is more clients wanting to book you, with no disappointment that you “don’t look like your pictures”.
Even if you have photos from previous sessions with photographers, not having new, fresh work is a good way to make a potential client move on to the next ad or website. Clients care less about what you looked like 5 years ago, or 2 years ago, or even last year, and care more about what you look like today, when they are considering whether or not to book you. Keeping your sites updated with current images shows them that you care about your service, and is a great way to show off any changes in your look since your older photo session.
If you’re going to pay someone money to enhance your brand’s personality and make you stand out, or even if just because you want good sexy photos of yourself, do you want photos that look like every other escort and entertainer on that (and every other) webpage? You should hire a photographer who has a unique artistic style that will make you stand out not only from the companions and entertainers who have only “candid” photos, but also from the many others also hiring professional photographers.
Each photo session that I do is designed specifically for you and tailored around what your wants and needs are, whether the images are for your personal use or for the enhancement of your brand. I take extreme pride in my work, and do everything I can to make sure you are thrilled with the end result you receive.
There are A LOT of photographers out there, in just this city alone, so I take pride in the fact that my work looks like MY work. I strive to create work that not only makes you look good, but that is unique, that is unlike the hundreds of other boudoir and escort photographers, and that has a strong sense of artistic value. Work that is unique makes you stand out, and work that has a perceived higher value will then transfer that perception of higher value onto you in the eyes of your clients.
I keep all my files on password encrypted drives, and deliver your photos to you through password encrypted galleries, so you can rest assured that your images (especially unedited ones) will never fall into the wrong hands or show up somewhere you don’t want them to. Discretion is one of my highest priorities, so you know that your photos and/or any information about you will never be shared with any third parties.
If you need something unique that doesn't fall under one of these please contact me with details for a quote.
Packages do NOT include hair and makeup. I work with an amazing hair and make up artist whose services can be combined with any of these packages for an extra $200. If you have your own HMUA that you would like to bring to the shoot, or if you would prefer to do your own make up, that is perfectly fine.
Each shoot includes pre-shoot consultation as to stylistic needs and direction of the shoot. There is no limit to the number of “looks” for each package, we can shoot as many looks as can comfortably be shot within the period of time that is booked.
Want to shoot at your residence, hotel room, or somewhere outdoors such as the beach? No problem, each of these packages are tailored for coming to your location. (These packages DO NOT INCLUDE LOCATION or any fees for use of a location)
If you would like to do a shoot in a hotel room but aren’t sure which hotels are good options then feel free to contact me and I can send you a guide that has descriptions, rates, and images of hotels that I have previously done photoshoots in.
All of these packages include shooting at 1 of my 3 locations. Click Here to see images and descriptions of each location. Extra retouches may be added to any package for $15 per image.
Shoots of less than 2 hours will not include lighting equipment
Extra Retouches: $15 per image
A 25% deposit is required in order to secure reservation of shoot day/time.
An additional 30 seconds can be added to any edit for an extra $100 (so for example if you wanted a 60 second video you could do it with 2 hours shooting for $600 or with 3 hours shooting for $700.. more time spent shooting just means more variety of looks, more good material for the final edit, etc.).
All video packages also include shooting and delivery of unedited photos, if desired.
These packages DO NOT INCLUDE LOCATION or any fees for use of a location.
Born in the south and raised in the northeast, I spent a little over a decade in the U.S. Navy before, sick of the long days, I gave up my uniform for a camera… and even longer days. An introspect with a penchant for people watching, naturally I aimed my lens at the most fascinating, and difficult to capture, subject of all – and thus began my career/obsession with portraiture.
After moving to NYC in 2011 I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from the School of Visual Arts. My first international photography experience was spending a summer shooting for modeling agencies in Milan. A year later I returned to Europe to spend 7 months studying photography and art history at the Paris College of Art. I have been fortunate enough to work with and study under amazing people such as music photography legend Clay Patrick McBride, and London fashion photography giant Michael Daks.
For me photography is not just a hobby, and not just a job. It truly is my passion and my life’s work. Complimenting that obsession is a proclivity for wandering, in the truest sense of the word. I have traversed 5 continents, sailed across 3 oceans, and have been through 42 of the 50 American states.
I call home wherever the majority of my cameras are, which at the moment is Brooklyn, NY.
Above all, Be Yourself.
If you have a question, or would like a custom quote, then please feel free to contact me! I am normally able to get back to you that same day.
